What I Learned
This project was the first time that I draped over a mannequin to create my own patterns, as well as creating a collection of wearables with an overarching theme. The most crucial element that I learned through this process was organization and planning. Things don't always go as planned. In order to be efficient with the time given, I needed to work around obstacles that come such as: fabric shipment was lost, searching for the right accessories and elements, color matching, and the learning curve of sewing new patterns together. I learned that I should give myself more time than I initially projected to complete tasks to overcome setbacks.
